Hooray! The excellent Delays have finally announced details of the first proper single from their forthcoming third album. Entitled 'Hooray', it hits shelves in the UK on April 28th. And it's quite good. See?
Boo! Not only it is coming out on the obnoxious 2-track CD/7"/7" format - enough already! - they're recycling one of the b-sides from last year's "Love Made Visible" EP on one of the 7"s. That's 2 releases in a row getting the same b-side. Weak.

I've never been much of a fan...except for "Valentine" which I think is brilliant and which I wish they sounded like more often.
I think I'll put that on now! Is it just me, or could that initial bass line be from a Dead Or Alive song? In a good way.
'Valentine' is clearly the best thing they've ever done - and I, too, wish they sounded like that more often.
I do think, though, that "Faded Seaside Glamour" was a wonderful album and that "You See Colours" had moments, so I'm hopeful for this one.
